I love scones and they are so easy to make that I’m cooking a batch every week. The scones are ready in only 20-25 minutes, baking time included.
I’ve discovered The Great Blogger Bake Off a few months ago, started by another blogger and I loved it. I couldn’t take part as I didn’t see it in time and with the house move (and renovating), it would have been impossible to bake something every week.
Cozonac is a traditional Romanian sweet loaf. This is my family’s special recipe, passed down from my grand-grandmother. This dessert is made for Christmas, Easter and other special occasions.
Fancy chocolate truffles? Why not some a batch of raw, healthy chocolate truffles. It took 5 minutes to make them and another 30 minutes to wait while they were cooling in the fridge. Using an avocado, I was able to make 9 truffles at only 57.6 calories each.

Friday was Festus’s birthday and we celebrated with a high protein lemon cheesecake for us, a cheesecake for him and we played in the park with his new football.
