I wanted a dessert that is easy to make when I was in a hurry. As I like how strawberries and basil go together, I’ve decided to make an Eton Mess.
Ingredients for 2 desserts:
– 3 small meringues
– 4 spoons of whipped cream
– 200g strawberries
– 25 sugar
– 1 teaspoon of dried basil
Wash and cut the strawberries. Cover them with sugar and basil and leave them for half an hour.
Put the strawberries on the hob over medium heat and stir from time to time. When the sauce is done, remove it from the heat and leave it to cool.
Crush the meringues and put them in the jars or glasses.
Pour the strawberry sauce on top of the meringue.
Add the whipped cream.
Leave it as it is or add a strawberry for decor.
