I’ve been making my own butter from almonds, peanuts, hazelnuts for years. It doesn’t take a lot of time to make and it’s healthy. There are a few jars of almond butter that don’t have any additional salt or oil, but there are harder to find and the jars are quite small.
To make your own butter you will need a good food processor or blender with ice crushing function. As I bought my new food processor this week, I’ve decided to make some almond butter to test it.
From 750g raw almonds you can make 700g almond butter.
