Rhubarb sorbet

April 23, 2015February 11, 2021 Anca

This was my first attempt to make sorbet and I’m very happy with the outcome. I’ve served the rhubarb sorbet with pistachio and rhubarb&pistachio cake. Love the texture of the sorbet and it is so easy to make. Cut the rhubarb and put it in a bowl with sugar. For 400 g rhubarb add 150

April 7, 2015February 11, 2021 Anca

When I’m very busy and I don’t have a lot of time to cook… I bake. It’s easier to have a meal ready by leaving some root vegetables in the oven for 45 minutes – 1 hour, no hassle. I’ve made roasted celeriac a few times and it’s the perfect side dish. Cut the celeriac

Courgette on a bed of bulgur and rice

April 6, 2015February 11, 2021 Anca

I cooked the rice and bulgur a day before, I mixed them and I’ve used half of it for a meal. The bulgur has to be soaked in boiling water for 30 minutes and the rice needs around 20 minutes to cook. The other half I’ve saved it for the following day. Ingredients for 2
